    About the Position:


    We are looking to add an out-going, qualified healthcare provider to service several of our national clients in the Long Island City, Melville & Wyandanch, NY areas with a total of 40 hours each week- these hours include drive time! This dual industrial / occupational prevention & Client Ergonomic Specialist position is ideally suited for an individual who possesses strong ergonomic & manual therapy skills, has autonomous experience with injury evaluation, and has the ability to work Monday-Friday weekday hours.

    Primary Duties:

    This balanced position will combine business operations goals and on-site industrial sports medicine responsibilities.

    1. Coach the development of ergonomic skills for Briotix Health providers in the eastern division
    2. Collaborate with our corporate ergonomics team to create ergonomic programs based on client needs and the vision of Briotix Health
    3. Develop, launch and coordinate the ergonomic training of Briotix Health providers in the eastern division
    4. On-site care and management of work and non-work related discomforts and illnesses within OSHA first-aid standards
    5. Coordinate and implement Briotix Health’s injury prevention programs
    6. Drive client ergonomic program success using in depth knowledge of ergonomics and management of projects to completion


    Position Requirements:

    1. Bachelor’s Degree in related field
    2. Advanced ergonomic certification (CEAS I, CEAS II, CEAS III)
    3. Current CPR Certification CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer, BLS Healthcare Provider, or equivalent certification
    4. A minimum of two years healthcare experience
    5. A minimum of two years ergonomic experience
    6. Ability to communicate effectively in person, via video skype, and in writing
    7. Strong organizational and time management skills along with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
    8. Ability to pass a background check and drug screen


    Preferred Qualifications:

    1. Experience working from a remote/home office
    2. Masters degree in related field
    3. Fluent in Spanish
    4. Degree in Athletic Training, Ergonomics, Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, or related field
    5. Industrial / Occupational experience in prevention and/or ergonomics
